Friends Of
Bright Futures SchoolFriends of Bright Futures School (FBFS) is the school’s parent/teacher association of Bright Futures School for children with autism.
The aim of the Association is to advance the education of pupils in the school in particular by:
- Developing effective relationships between the staff, parents and others associated with the school.
- Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment, which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.
FBFS is a charity and our registration number is 1153766. We have our own bank account and our main purpose is to raise funds to augment the social and educational experience of pupils at school and to foster good relationships between school, pupils and parents.
Membership of FBFS is open to a) parents, guardians or carers of any pupil currently attending the school and b) teaching and non-teaching staff currently employed by the school or any person over the age of 18 wishing to offer appropriate support or help to the school and who is accepted by the Committee as a Member.

How to Become a Friend of Bright Futures School
Please email the school office (office@brightfuturesschool.co.uk) if you are interested in supporting Bright Futures School through FBFS.
We have recently raised sufficient funds to purchase our own mobile defibrillator and all staff have now been trained to use it (although we are hoping we don't have to!)
We have a Go Fund me appeal to support parents of pupils and prospective pupils at Bright Futures School who have to go to SEN Tribunal to challenge inadequate educational provision in their child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). If you would like to make a donation, please contact Zoe Thompson at school.
Thank you for your support.
