BFS Opportunities- Lunch and Break time supervisor – January 2021
This is a part time role (term time only) working Monday to Friday between the hours of 10.45am and 1.15pm. (12.5 hrs/wk @ £8.72/hr = £109 per week.)
Additional hours may be requested by BFS in case of staff absence and in negotiation with the successful applicant.
As a lunch time supervisor you are required to supervise children at break and lunchtime as directed by and with school staff. This may be indoors or in the playground.
The supervisor will:
Make hot drinks for staff in the staffroom
Work with learning mentors at handover times
Encourage healthy eating and good manners
Ensure the safety of children, ensuring safeguarding guidelines are followed
Actively supervise outdoor play and interact with the children
Support and follow the ethos of Bright Futures School when engaging with the children
Liaise with Management to support all staff in preparing resources or assisting staff in class as directed
