OPPORTUNITIESAt Bright Futures School
There are no teaching positions available at present, but we are currently looking for a part-time Learning Mentor (2.5 days per week).
You will need to be creative and flexible in your approach towards working with children with autism. We may need someone who can join our hard working, friendly and supportive team and engage pupils in meaningful and innovative activities, as well as planning and delivering basic literacy and numeracy skills. A Learning Mentor role involves 1-1 working and very small group work mainly with KS 2 and 3. Previous experience of working in a school is desirable, as is a creative approach to children’s learning that will support the school vision as outlined on the school website.
The ability to engage pupils in meaningful and innovative activities and build up trusting relationships is essential.
If you would like to be considered for this, or any future positions, please email the school admin support, Christina Stocks – firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and a brief explanation about why you are interested in working at Bright Futures School.
We are always keen to provide opportunities for volunteers to gain experience of working with children with autism.
If you feel that you have something to offer us and could spare a few hours/days a week in a supporting classroom role or in the garden/workshop, or even as a handyperson, please read our volunteer policy (available on our Policies page) and complete the application form below and email to email@example.com.
